I made this one for my daughter Tracy. it seemed to remind me of her colorful personality! It was a painstaking process of closely following a pattern (my least favorite kind of quilt to make, because you know what it's going to look like when you start and where's the fun in that?) Circa 2011.

Made for a dear friend when she became a grandmother. It's an EYE SPY quilt for playing games with little ones. Circa 2012.

If I had to give this quilt a name, I would call it Triangles-Are-A-Lot-of-Work. After a quilt like this one, I avoid triangles for a while. It is one of my favorites. Circa 2010.

Angie started collecting snowmen when she was in high school. I saw this pattern and had to make it for her. Not especially fun to make. Quilted professionally by Pridemore Quilting. Circa 2001.

Grandma Lucinda Curtis made about 24 blocks like these in the 1950's or 60's. She gave half of them to me and I assembled them into the quilt and paid a friend to hand quilt it. That was about 1990.

This one is Jason's car quilt. When he became a truck driver, this quilt traveled with him across the country in a big rig. I made it about 2008. One of the first quilts I did on my long arm.

Katie and Jason's wedding quilt. I had decided that I couldn't make Katie a quilt in time for her wedding but a good friend called me in October and really encouraged me to do it (quilt guilt trip). I got it done on weekends and evenings in time for the wedding! Her wedding was Veteran's Day 2004.

This is a wall quilt made for Rich's parents for their 40th wedding anniversary. The hearts represent all of their children and grandchildren (everyone made their own heart). It was hand quilted by Maurine Houston. 1992.

Loa asked me to make her a green quilt with no triangles. It is still in her living room.

Angie helped me design and make this quilt for her principal after five years of teaching. It is the school motto. Work hard, be nice. 2012.

I made this one for Brent and Sandy Packer after they let us borrow their cabin. Our family went to Forest Lakes for five days. Fall 2014.

I made this quilt with my fifth and sixth grade students in 2002. They were instructed to illustrate a block with their favorite thing to read. It's hanging in the library at Finley Farms Elementary, my 8-4 home for the last 17 years.

Katie gave this quilt to a good friend that was fighting cancer. She took it with her to chemo. 2010?
