Green Quilt

I made this one for Loa along with another green quilt. She choose the other one. Circa 2010. This one went to a homeless guy that Rich's Rotary Club was helping.

This is Mindy's second high school graduation quilt. I didn't like the first one. This was quilted by Jill Lilly circa 2005.

My friend in SLC, Connie Nink, has this one. She picked the pattern and I picked the colors.

Baby Girl quilt that I donated for auction at a family reunion. Rich bought it! I gave it to Dorilee Farnsworth's daughter's first baby girl. It's in Idaho. Circa 2009-10.

This was my first attempt at the log cabin pattern. It was late 1980's. Handquilted. Katie has it-I think...

This quilt is king-size and has been on my bed for several years. Jill Lilly quilted it edge to edge with a beautiful floral. It was really hard to piece and took many months of working evenings after work. Each row has to coordinate with the next row so I started using masking tape to save time! 2008 I think.

This is Katie's HS graduation quilt. I call it her freedom quilt. Circa1998. Hand quilted.

I went through a phase when I was making car quilts for my family. This is the one I did for my husband, Rich. I put in things that remind me of him: golf balls, dominoes, three stooges, kisses....It was the last quilt that I hand quilted before I bought the quilting machine. That would be 2008.

Hand quilted Purples approx 2005. Gave to Joe and Kim last summer because Joe really liked it and that was good enough for me. Lap size. Hard to piece. Had to mark all the sewing lines to make blocks fit.

The year that Loa's boys got married I made two quilts. One for each. I wrapped them up and gave them to Loa for the newlyweds to choose unseen. I think Chet got this one but couldn't swear to it. It was custom machine quilted by a lady in Mesa. Her name escapes me....2006 maybe.

Katie and I made this one for her good friend Bethany Brown (when she got married). I think Jill Lilly quilted it. Circa 2008.

I made this quilt for my mother-in-law Karla Curtis. She collected teddy bears and this is the bear paw pattern so it seemed to fit. She had it until her death in 2006 but it was made in late 1980's. Hand quilted by Maureen Huston.

This quilt was made in 1992 and hung on the dining room wall at our house on Ford Ave.

I have never liked this quilt! Mindy's first graduation quilt.

This quilt is king-size. I gave it to my dad when he moved to Mesa. I have no idea where it went from there. I made it in late 90's I think.

This was made for Miss Angie (Mindy's care giver) when she got married. Circa 2006.

 I made this quilt really fast the summer that I found out I had cancer, needed surgery, etc. etc. and wanted to have something to work on during recovery. It was made with bright colors for Tracy.
